Our Story
Hello Pest Control was founded in 2009 by Jeffrey White, a licensed pest control professional who grew up in Westchester County and wanted to build something different: a pest control company that homeowners could actually trust.
At the time, Jeffrey had already spent several years working for larger regional operators. He was good at the work, but frustrated with the industry norms — high-pressure upselling, cookie-cutter treatment plans, and technicians who were in and out without explaining what they were actually doing or why. He knew there was a better way.
Starting with a handful of residential clients in White Plains and New Rochelle, Hello Pest Control grew steadily through referrals. The formula was simple: show up on time, explain the problem honestly, use the right treatment, guarantee the work, and follow up. Word spread.
By 2011, Jeffrey had earned his New Jersey DEP license and expanded into Bergen County. By 2014, the company added a commercial division. By 2017, The Bronx was added to cover growing demand from urban residential and multi-family clients. Rockland County followed in 2022.
Today, Hello Pest Control serves 122 towns across 4 counties in New York and New Jersey. The company is still locally owned, still run by Jeffrey, and still operates on the same principles it was founded on.
